The Pakistan cricket team will play an ODI series against the West Indies at home in June 2022. Pakistan all-rounders Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz make a return to the ODI squad against the West Indies series 2022. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday (May 23) announced a 16-member squad.

The three ODIs of the series against the West Indies will be played on June 8, 10 and 12 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The ODI series was scheduled to be held during the West Indies tour of Pakistan in 2021. However, it was postponed due to the attack of Kovid in the visiting camp.

Chief selector Mohammad Wasim said in a statement issued by the PCB, “Nawaz and Shadab are now fully fit. As a result, they have been replaced by Asif Afridi and Usman Qadir. We had to choose the best team to win the series.

Pakistan ODI team will start training camp on June 1 in Rawalpindi. However, English County Championship players Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Rizwan and Shadab will join the team a little later in the camp.
