1. Sohail Tanvir
Left-arm stylish pacer played for Rajasthan Royals. The Shane Warne-led team lifted the IPL title at home. Sohail Tanvir’s performance also played a big role behind this. Sohail Tanvir is the first cricketer to win the Purple Cap in the IPL. He was the highest wicket taker of the event with 22 wickets in 11 matches.
2. Shahid Afridi
Shahid Afridi played for Deccan Chargers. The star was the best player in the tournament at the 2006 World Cup just the year before. However, he could not maintain that trend of performance in the IPL. He scored only 61 runs in 10 matches and taking 9 wickets.
3. Shoaib Malik
