Muttiah Muralitharan Discharged From Hospital After Angioplasty
Sri Lankan cricket legend Muttiah Muralitharan has suddenly fallen ill and was admitted to the hospital due to heart disease. However, Muttiah Muralitharan was discharged within a day of being admitted to the hospital.
Murali is currently in India to coach Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2021. He was admitted to a hospital in Chennai on April 17 due to sudden cardiac arrest. After examination, it is known that he has a block in his heart. After the angioplasty, the doctors placed a stent in Murali’s blocked artery.
It is then kept under observation. But Murali left the hospital on April 19, a day after feeling better. The 49-year-old star, who turned 49 on Saturday, is now normal. He is expected to join the team soon.
