Jofra Archer Ruled Out of Entire IPL 2021

Jofra Archer Ruled Out and is No Longer Playing in IPL 2021

Jofra Archer, one of the best stars of Rajasthan Royals, is ruled out of the entire IPL 2021. Archer was ruled out before the start of the IPL 2021 due to a hand injury. However, the Royals franchise was hoping to be fit and back in the middle of the tournament. But this time the ECB heard their big bad news; Jofra Archer will not play in 2021 IPL.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said today,

‘Archer will not play in the ongoing IPL 2021. Jofra Archer has started light practice this week. He has also started running with the ball under the supervision of the ECB and the Sussex medical team.

If Archer comes to India to play in the IPL, he will have to undergo a mandatory seven-day quarantine. Which will hinder his preparation and bowling, not ideal for returning to the competition. The Royals franchise and Archer mutually decided on this issue.

Proteas cricketer Rasi van der Dussen could join Rajasthan Royals.

Another English all-rounder Ben Stokes also put Rajasthan in even greater danger by playing one match. Stokes broke his finger while trying to catch that match. Liam Livingstone, the third English cricketer from Rajasthan Royals, returned home without playing a match after showing a tired bio-bubble issue.

He played great in the last IPL. Archer was the most valuable player in the tournament. Not getting him this time is a big blow to the Rajasthan Royals camp, I can’t wait to say that.

It is to be mentioned that Archer came to India for the last time due to injury with the England cricket team. His elbow injury increased while playing in the T20 series. Archer was immediately sent back to England without any risk. The England fast bowler had an accident while at home.
