India will host South Africa at the end of the 15th edition of the IPL. From this series, BCCI will return 100% spectators at home. This is what the various Indian media has reported.
“The final decision has been made to keep 100 per cent spectators on the ground to reduce the impact of the coronavirus epidemic,” they said.
India will tour South Africa in June this year to play a five-match series. The BCCI has decided to hold five Twenty20 venues to reduce the impact of the coronavirus epidemic. Before the IPL, India hosted the West Indies and Sri Lanka at home. In all these two series, the Indian Board organized the series in one venue.
South Africa has already announced a 16-member T20 squad ahead of the series against India. On the other hand, it is expected that the Indian team will take the field against the Proteas with the second-tier team.
