Star India purchased the Indian Premier League Media Rights for 16,347.50 Crore IND Rupee for five years (2018 – 2022) as they owned the TV rights as well as OTT (Audio, Video, and other Media Services via Internet) digital rights. The Indian Network Star India won the five-year global media rights including all Indian television and digital platforms as well as for overseas broadcasts.

All matches can be available on Hotstar and Disney+ VIP by subscription for 399/- for 12 Months for the new or existing users while for the Hotstar Disney+ Premium the charges are 1499/- for 12months (IND Rupee). Jio TV, Airtel, and Reliance Network will also allow cricket fans to watch free and online streaming of Indian Premier League – IPL 2022 via weekly or daily subscriptions.

Sky Sports bought the Official Broadcasting Rights for the Live coverage of IPL 2022 in the UK; while all 60-Matches can be viewed online on Sky Go App as well. The Sky Sports Network purchased the rights to broadcast the IPL T20I League in Ireland and UK for the next three years, as cricket fans can watch all IPL matches exclusively live on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
